An eagle figure is needed as the next governor of Edo State: not a chattering parrot

The eagle is full of beauty and strength, full of grace, with the highest flight speed and a super visual intelligence that could detect an object from about 30 kilometers away. Among other birds, the eagle is the champion of airspace. Yet, we can hardly describe the sound of an eagle. But practically all of us can even imitate the sounds of an average parrot and other “*talkative birds*” low quality and low capacity, but which are well known for their noisiness.

It is a well-established axiom that the test of literacy and true intelligence is not a person’s ability to speak English, or any particular language for that matter. It is the ability to think creatively, make informed decisions, and solve and prevent problems with minimal cost. Proficiency and eloquence in speaking any language can be acquired through association, and not necessarily through formal education.

By the nature of Senator Monday Okpebholo, he is *an introvert*. A very humble, but truly calm and calculating personality who is not willing to talk too much. An average introvert is a naturally shy and reserved person, and that is exactly what the senator is. He is not a loudmouth. But a calm and calculating achiever with an aura of humility and intellectually charged with transformative political ideas that will reposition Edo State in all sectors. He is already communicating his manifesto to the general public and voters through his campaign messages at rallies, through leaflets, billboards, through social media platforms and traditional media.

When *a stutter* O *an introvert* the person is silent or does not speak eloquently and oratorially, this does not mean that he is empty or devoid of ideas. This does not make him incapable of articulating or executing his political vision. He is simply not naturally inclined to speak. Rather, he believes in expressing his vision both in writing and demonstrating it practically through informed political actions. This is exactly what Senator Monday Okpebholo represents. A very humble man, the Senator is campaigning in his own style without violating the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Electoral Act, and without falling into any form of pettiness. He is eminently qualified within the parameters of the law for the office of governor
