Apart from the security challenges faced by the highlands since he served in 2023, Governor, Caleb Mutfwang continued to seduce foreign investors who had bought their transformational agenda in the northern-country state.
This was once again exhibited when the governor received a high -power delegation from the European Union and sought similarities in government buildings in Little Rayfield, Jos, on Thursday.
The visit of the EU and SCG teams is intended to explore opportunities for partnerships in the development of peace and sustainable development.
During the visit, Governor Mutfwang reiterated the commitment of his government to foster a peaceful and safe environment where business could develop, promised to make the state of one of the most peaceful and investment -friendly Nigerian regions.

Mutfwang ,, who was represented in the forum by the State Commissioner for information and communication, Joyce Ramnap, said: “The state is ready to be involved in a global partnership that promotes peace and inclusive progress.”
He highlighted administrative efforts to ensure lasting peace through platforms such as the highlands of the State Advisory Council on inter -religious harmony, the State Peace Development Agency, and Rainbow Operations, which he said would produce positive results in the long run and improve critical economic sectors.

Omonwiwa prizes, including Ruben Alba (European Union Team Leader), Winifred Achu (EU Program Manager), and other officials.
In his remarks, Omoniwa stated that their visit was part of the evaluation of the Irenew project funded by the EU, which had strengthened the inter -religious harmony and the involvement of youth in the 17 regions of the Plateau Regional Government.
He expressed the interest of the EU in expanding collaboration with the state, especially in building an initial conflict response system and increasing peace initiatives.
In his remarks, Alba reiterated the EU’s commitment to support the highlands in the main fields such as agriculture, ICT, and infrastructure development.
On the same day, the state government also hosted a delegation from the United States, led by the Ambassador Dr. Linda Kaleidoscope.
The US delegation visit, according to Kaleidoscope, is to place a focus to explore investment opportunities in agriculture, education, tourism, and programs aimed at empowering women and children, under the slogan “Dream Plateau, Change Plateu.”
Ramnap who also welcomed the delegation on behalf of Governor Mutfwang, thanked them for choosing Plateau as an investment goal while emphasizing that the government remained open to partnerships that brought innovations, growth, and democratic dividends to the people.
This meeting also discussed the possibility of collaboration to encourage development and improve the welfare of citizens.
