The Sunshine Stars assistant coach, Bobola Akinfolarin, says that the Owena Waves will continue to fight to escape the descent this season.
The Akure Club increased its survival hopes with a hard 4-2 victory over Kwara United in Ikenne on Saturday.
Sunshine Stars moved to position 16 on the table after the victory won with effort.

Akinfolarin emphasized that his side would not give up until they leave the descent zone, recognizing the challenges of playing without obtaining the desired results.
“We are seriously working on our defense to make sure to stop granting objectives, both at home and outside.
“With the support of God, our fans and all interested parties, we are optimistic about leaving the red zone.”
Sunshine Stars will be out Nasarawa United in her next game.
