NSCDC arrested three in the attack, vandalism on Ebonyi

Nigerian civilian security and defense (NSCDC) has arrested three suspects for alleged attacks and vandalism in the state of Ebonyi.

NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state, Ny. Emmanuella Ibeneme, told journalists on Friday in Abakaliki that the suspects, including the new one, were released from detention Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOS).

He said the first suspect was a famous villain who had terrorized the NGBO community in the Ohaukwu Regional Government in the state.

“The new suspect was released from the Correctional Center to attack one Elom Chibuike with a knife.

“The suspect also collected N1.5 million from Elom, attacking and threatening to kill him.

“Investigations about this problem have been concluded, and this problem will soon be prosecuted in court.

“The second suspect from Ebonyi LGA was arrested for alleged cult cases.

“The suspect was arrested at the Ndiabor ofoke Secondary School after receiving information.

“Suspects and others in general usually terrorize school students with dangerous weapons.

“Investigations are ongoing and this problem will be charged to court afterwards,” said the spokesman.
