The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) intercepted a loaded truck with suspicions of road light vandalized road light for Kano.

The commander of the FCT, Odumosu Olusola, revealed it on Tuesday in Abuja, stating that the vehicle was interrupted by the national critical and infrastructure team (CNAI) of the body.

However, the truck driver and his assistant fled from the scene after being marked, abandoning the vehicle and its content.

“Their refusal to stop and provide a necessary explanation has raised further suspicions, pushing the kidnapping and trailer of the truck to the headquarters of the command,” said Odumosu.

He ordered the Department of H intelligence and investigations to take the case and discover the source and ownership of the vandalized articles.

According to him, anyone who has been held responsible will face a legal procedure.

Odumosu strongly condemned the continuous sabotage of public infrastructures and warned those involving in the vandalism of the CNAI to desist or face the full force of the law.

He also issued a stern warning to the operators of the Pantaker markets (traders of waste materials) within the FCT to avoid treating in the property of the stolen government.

“Our surveillance covers every part of the FCT, including the Pantaker markets.

Any factory has found trading in vandalized public infrastructures risk being closed, “he warned.
