NSCDC stops the man in Adamawa for N9m fraud

The command of the state of Adamawa of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) arrested a 28 -year -old man, Blex Johnson, for allegedly frauding the unaware members of the public of over 9 million.

The NSCDC spokesman, DSC Nyako Baba, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Tuesday.

He explained that the suspicion was arrested on September 2, 2025, in the village of Timbokum, in the area of ​​the local government of Ganye, following the credible intelligence and coordinated efforts by the officers.

The preliminary investigations revealed that Johnson presumably canceled at least nine people, obtaining a total of ₦ 9,085,000.

According to reports, he attracted victims by placing influential figures and making false promises of political appointments, job opportunities and international travel assistance.

“The registers show that the victims paid the sums directly on his account.

“During the investigation, the suspicion refunded ₦ 1,120,000 to some of them,” said the spokesperson.

Baba added that further investigations are underway to discover the full extension of Johnson’s fraudulent activities and identify possible accomplices.
