NUPRC dismantles the accusations of subtle relationships against Theconclaveng

The oil regulation commission in Monte Nigerian (NUPRC) has torn to destroy the accusations of subtle relationships against its leadership

The Commission articulated a strong defense in a declaration entitled: “Public declaration accusations and harmful accusations to the negligent Nuprc leadership”.

The declaration of Bashiru Indobawa, president of 2024 Bid Round Committee, NUPRC, is published in the extension later:

β€œOur attention was attracted by an article Spurio and clearly manufactured recently published in a blog of online news, insinuating some subtle relationships in the assignment of the oil blocks during the 1524 oil license offer round of oil license.

β€œThis seems to be the work of a notorious blackmail, a harmful attack destined to generate unnecessary disputes, since there have been no agreements of these agreements with no individual, group or institution.

β€œFor those expert in the operations of the oil industry in the field of the Petroleum Industry Act of 2021, together with the regulatory paintings established by the commission for oil regulation in Monte Nigeriana (NUPRC), the scenario of development may seem almost a fairy tale.

β€œIt seems too extraordinary to be credible in the context of the existing regulatory environment and the meticulous processes forced for the oil offer rounds.

β€œTo provide some clarity, the NUPRC has recently taken the initiation and conclusion of the 2024 oil offer round.

β€œThis process was characterized by a complete and rigorous picture designed to guarantee the transparency and involvement of the interested parties.

“Among the key components of this meticulous process there were public auditions held in various phases, in which all the interested parties in the sector were encouraged to participate and express their prospects.

β€œThese auditions have facilitated a collaborative atmosphere, allowing inputs by regulatory agencies and all parties operating and operations of the supervision sector.

“Their involvement was not limited to the final stages of the offer round; they played a fundamental role from the beginning, contributing to the development of regulations and to the helm of the offer process.

β€œThis level of commitment and procedural rigor underlines a commitment to promote a fair and competitive offer environment in the Nigerian oil sector.

“The selection process for the 2024 oil offer round was a complete and inclusive event, which involved a wide range of stakeholders such as international oil companies (IOC), various local and international companies, the media representatives and national and international media.

β€œThis process was conducted in a way that confirmed the principles of competitiveness, opening and transparency, as imposed by section 73 of the Petroleum Industry Act (Pia).

β€œThe turn of licenses conducted by Nuptc under Engr Komolafe was the first in almost 70 years in the history of the oil sector upstream of Nigeria to exploit digital technology, without any human interference, in a way judged to be in line with the best global practices.

β€œThe result was live television and frequented by all the interested parties mentioned above. There was no room for any manipulation to justify any subtle relationships, as insinuated mischievous in the publication.

“Therefore, any accusations or insinuations regarding subtle relationships or corruption are lacking in the merit and are completely unfounded, serving only to mislead.

β€œThese statements are not rooted in truth and ignore the rigorous standards supported during the selection process.

“Crossing the publication, it was obvious that the anonymous” Our Reporter “in the blog was on the mission of blackmail.

β€œHe intentionally obscured the identity of his so -called sources, unable to adequately identify one of the over 14 alleged informants and so -called experts and groups mentioned.

“The narration style seemed more like a targeted opinion than a legitimate report relationship. The publication referred to a vague collection of collaborators, as more sources who are familiar with the question, insiders, a high NUPRC official who spoke anonymously, etc.

β€œOther phrases included analysts who argued, family sources with the functioning of Komolafe and many others who provided opinions without being named.

“This wholesale dependence on anonymity raises critical questions: what were these sources supported? What were revealing or discussing in a question that was not in the public domain. If history is a unique revelation based on careful investigation, as supported, then the lack of identifiable sources undermines its credibility.

“This approach suggests a prejudice and a possible agenda behind the article, indicating that the publication may have been more focused on the attack of a topic than on the delivery of a fair and factual relationship.

β€œIn addition, the article does not provide conclusions regarding the alleged cases involving the EFCC, ICPC or Lagos division of the Federal Court.

β€œThe constant omission by the publication of the results of the various investigations and judges raised in the invented article suggests a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and strengthen the impact of his not founded statements.

β€œIn conclusion, the article is nothing more than a narrative manufactured aimed at defaming the leadership of the Commission.

“His dependence on anonymous sources undermines the credibility of the statements made, raising serious doubts about the journalistic integrity of the piece.

β€œThe meticulous processes and regulatory paintings established by the NUPRC during the 2024 oil offer round show a commitment to transparency and equity in the sector.

β€œThe accusations of bad conduct, in particular those that have no substantial evidence, distract from the real progress made in the oil sector and contribute to a culture of disinformation.

β€œIt is essential that the media support rigorous standards of accuracy, especially when discussing issues of significant public interest and economic importance.

“The unfounded statements made in the above article serve only to mislead and create unnecessary disputes, deducting the progress reached in the framework of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021.

“Regardless of the mischievous motivations of those who behind the campaigns of Striscia, the NUPRC leadership is unwavering in its firm commitment for the implementation of the bold reform initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the oil and Nigerian gas sector for the optimization of the federation’s revenue in the general interest.”
