im 61, i grew up logging here in the blue ridge mtns of western nc. i got cut with a saw when i was 22. im praying for this brother god can and will see this man and his family through this ! ive lost friends to logging accidents! if you do this long enough chances are its not how or why but when. god forbid any more in juries but prayers sent to this brother!

Hey Mike, I mentioned this on another channel in regard to helping Pete.
A lot of folks want to help, but the economy has put many in a position of not being able to financially.
But there is a way!
If everyone would just go to his channel, and go to his video list, and click on play all, and then just LET IT RUN all day, Pete will get paid from YouTube for advertising dollars and likes and such.
I did something similar for another friend, and I would start on their videos when I logged in, and just let it run. In fact, it is running right now, and has been for ten hours today.
I also had it running six hours yesterday.
You can open in a new tab and let it run as you continue to do your work on your computer.
We all are praying for Pete and wish him the best of luck.

Talk about support. The community has already raised $15,000 over the goal amount and I'm sure it's still going. It's a sad situation no matter who it happens to. In the interest of work, health and safety it would be crucial to know eventually what the circumstances were. You blokes do a wonderful job of bringing a new world to city dwellers and desk jockeys. Stay safe.
I'm trained and certified to drop trees in the state forest and state parks, plus I cut my own firewood. As such, I've dropped hundreds and hundreds of trees across the years. A few years back, I was dropping a dead tree, next to a trail, that was leaning at a 45 degree angle – due west. I did all the state approved cuts, notches and wedge method. It was a windless day and there were no vines on the tree. When the time came, in the cutting process, for the for the tree to disconnect and fall – it fell 90 degrees due north. There was absolutely no reason for that. It should have fell due west. To be safe, you have to prepare for the unexpected: anytime you're dropping trees. Wear all the protective gear. Be trained. Be prepared. And, be safe – if you have a chainsaw in your hands.
