Nwakaeme delights in Trabzonspor’s return

The Nigerian striker returns from Saudi side Al Fayha, attracted by Trabzonspor’s ambitious plans for next season.

During his first spell with Trabzonspor, Nwakaeme played a key role in winning the 2021/22 Turkish League title.

After leaving for Al Fayha on a free transfer in 2022, Nwakaeme’s return is a major boost for Trabzonspor.

Following his arrival, the club’s attention is now focused on signing Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu, who scored fifteen goals last season and helped the team reach the Turkish Cup final and qualify for the UEFA Conference League, is reluctant to return to his parent club Southampton after his loan to Trabzonspor.
