‘Obi to Tinubu: End France visit immediately to overcome the insecurity

Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has asked the President of Bola Tinubu to cut off his ‘work holidays’ in France and return home because Nigeria is currently ‘burning.’

Obi who made a call in the statement he shared on page X was verified on Wednesday, scolding Tinubu to be suspected
Leaving the country in the face of insecurity that burns and many other challenges to go on vacation in France.

He regretted the insecurity of having surrounded the country in two weeks that the president had gone and urged him to leave whatever he did in France and returned to the country to deal with the burning problems that were disturbing.

“I was forced at this time in our lives as a country to ask for the attention of our president who resigned to security challenges at home, which requires that he immediately postponed his sustainable retreat in foreign land and returned to overcome the extraordinary security situation throughout the country,” Obi wrote.

“This urgent call becomes necessary after increasing crime and crime incidents throughout Nigeria in the absence of a clear government.

“In 2 weeks you have gone, more than 150 Nigerians have lost their lives because of insecurity in all Nigeria, especially in the State of the Highlands and Zamfara.

“The explosion of recurring pipes in Delta Niger, further reflects a country in difficulties.

“In the northeast, the leaders of the state of Borno lamented the return of the rebellion with troops and civilians were killed randomly. In the southeast, the story is the same: murder and kidnapping.

“In the midst of all this, the CEO of a problematic company named Nigeria resigned on a far land in France from the company’s headquarters.

“The main task of any government is to secure the lives and property of its citizens and people ask questions about the types of retreats that occur in other countries where peace has been secured by their leaders while blood continues to flow in our country

“A better struggle for Nigeria is not about individuals; this is about ensuring that every citizen can see, feel, and benefit from their ruling policies and decisions.

“Therefore I want to urge the President to quickly suspend whatever he does in France and rush home to be responsible by overcoming this disturbing problem

“That is the new Nigeria sought by the nation.”
