Oborevwori captivated the former Gov James icori to APC

The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, said on Wednesday that the Congress of all Progressive (APC) would welcome former Governor James Ibori into his fold.

Oborevwori, who was just defected to the party of the Democratic Party, said that this was during the Vigil Mass which was held to respect the former Deputy Governor of the State, Prof. Amos Utuama.

Mass is held at the Catholic Church of St. Andrew, Otu-Yeremi, the area of ​​the southern government of Ughelli in the state.

The Governor, who emphasized the need for unity between Urhobo political classes, highlighted the selfless contribution of the former deputy governor.

He said: “Let me say this, former Governor James Ibori will be happy to be accepted at APC if he decides to join the winning party.

“I am very happy to be here today, seeing this big meeting for one person. Today’s sermon is not about the dead, this is about the living.

“There are many things that our former deputy governor did when he was still alive. I will only mention a few keys.

“He donated the land allocated to him in Asaba when he became Deputy Governor of the Catholic Church.

“He also contributes to the construction of the church. For me, it is a royal investment.”
