Ogun State Football Association honours Sheikh Salaudeen for his support of grassroots football, promises greater youth participation

Sheikh Maruwf Salaudeen, the Olubori Adeen of Egba Land, has been recognised by the Ogun State Football Association (FA) for his outstanding contributions to grassroots football and youth development, sports247 reports.

The award, presented by FA President, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, commended Salaudeen’s continued philanthropic work in sports which has positively impacted numerous young lives in Ogun State.

In his acceptance speech, Salaudeen expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to do more for young people through sport.

“This recognition is a motivation to do more. I will continue to contribute to the growth of grassroots football and bring more smiles to the faces of our young people.”

President Majekodunmi praised Salaudeen’s dedication, saying: “Sheikh Salaudeen’s contribution to the development of youth sports in this state is immeasurable. His support has nurtured many talents and we are proud to honour him for his continued efforts.”
