OGUN2025: Rachel Davou de Plateau creates impulse, experience in cycling at the National Sports Festival

Rachel Davou, Junior cyclist Plateau statusHe is immersing himself in the experience in the 22nd National Sports Festival as one of the Guest Junior Athletes. Cattered during a road test session, Rachel spoke frankly about the trip so far.

“We just did a road test” She shared, after having been at the festival for almost a week. “It has not been so easy, but we just have to move on. And in this our competition is only the grace of God.”

Although the land is hard and the competition is more rigid than is accustomed, Rachel is not deterred. She met other young athletes from several states and recognizes the level of talent around her:

“Yes, they are strong. We simply handle and go together. But they are really good.”

With just over a year of experience in cycling, Rachel has already begun to leave her.

“I have been by bicycle for a year and a few months. I attended the Youth Games in Delta and Nasco competitions inside Plateau.”

Their efforts have already yielded results, including a Bronze Medal in Youth Games in Deltaas well as Gold, silver and bronze medals in local competitions in Plateau status.

Although he is not entering this festival with high expectations of podium, he focuses on what matters most at this stage of his career,experience and growth.

“I really don’t expect anything. It’s just the training I am going to do.”

Rachel Davou can be early on your bike trip, but its determination, discipline and humility indicate a promising future for the athlete born in the plateau.
