The Governor of the Edo State, Senator on Monday Okpebholo, asked for the immediate arrest and pursuit of the president of the new Black Movement (NBM) of Africa, Olorogun Ese Kakor, for alleged falsification of the official documents of the state government.
Okpebholo revealed it in a petition that he addressed to the police general inspector, Kayode Egbetokun, and to the general manager of the Department of State Services (DSS), Oluwatosin Ajayi.
In the petition, the governor accused Kakor of having forged the government’s documents, in which he falsely said he had authorized him to provide assistance to schools in the Senatorial District of the South of Edo.
The law, according to Okpebholo, was not only fraudulent, but an assault on the integrity of the administrative processes of the state.
Okpebholo, who described the act as a criminal and deceptive, said that the alleged falsification was made in connivance with some low -level public employees within the state bureaucracy.
He observed: “Those public employees involved in falsification have already been identified and taken in custody. A police investigation are currently underway to determine their level of guilt”.
Continuing, the governor promised that all those who have found guilty will be pursued in accordance with the law.
He also insisted on the fact that the land title on which the NBM headquarters in Edo’s state was erected, citing the alleged involvement of the organization in violent crimes and illegal activities within the state.
