Ola Aina wins Player of the Month Award

Aina was voted the Club’s player for the month of September, dethroning international teammate Taiwo Awoniyi who last won the award.

The full back, according to the club statment, scooped 40 per cent of the total votes cast by fans.

Ola Aina has settled quickly into life at the City Ground after arriving as a free agent.

In September, he played three times including in the 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge, a 1-1 draw at the City Ground against Burnley and a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.

He was surprisingly left out of the squad for weekend’s tie against Brentford.
