Team Nigeria’s Olaore Olaitan Adam has been eliminated from the boxing event at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Competing in the men’s 92kg preliminaries at the North Paris Arena, Adam was defeated by Kazakhstan’s Oralbay Aibek.

Aibek’s strategic play ensured that Adam was unable to recover, maintaining the lead established in the first round.
The judges’ final score was 26 for Adam and 30 for Aibek.
This defeat marks the end of Nigeria’s participation in the boxing event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The team faced further setbacks when Dolapo Omole was sidelined due to injury and Cynthia Ogunsemilore was suspended after testing positive for a banned substance.
