Former Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Oliseh has been appointed to the International Football Association (IFAB) Board.
Oliseh shared the news through his official X grip on Monday, expressing his joy.
“It’s nice to announce my gathering to the International Football Association (IFAB) Board!
“IFAB is a global guardian of football law, which is responsible for determining football law, forming a beautiful game for players and fans around the world. Honorable contributes to its mission!”

After retiring from professional football, Oliseh switched to training and football administration, including the task of being the head coach of the Nigeria national team, Super Eagles.
He also plays a managerial role in various European clubs.
Realizing his insight and experience, FIFA appointed him to technical study groups for major tournaments such as the 2016 Rio Olympiad and the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In this role, Oliseh collaborates with famous figures such as Arsène Wenger and Jürgen Klinsmann, contributing to game analysis and helping to shape the future of football at the global level.
