Ondo PDP praised Fubara for Resilience, Leadership

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State on Wednesday praised the Governor of the State of Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara, for his calm resilience and leadership.

The Chairperson of the PDP Guard Committee in the state, Head of Bakkita Bello, in a statement on Wednesday in Akure, welcomed Fubara back to the office after the suspension of six months by the Bola Tinubu President for the political crisis in the state.

He stressed that the mandate given to the governor by the river people could not be taken.

Bello said: “Your return is not only a victory for democracy but also an in -depth affirmation that the mandate given freely by river people cannot be overthrown by any power.

“You once again show resilience, calm leadership, and confidence in constitutional governance – quality that continues to inspire our big parties in Nigeria.

“We praise your unwavering commitment to peace, development, and services to your people in facing scary challenges.

“Your courage in standing firmly for justice and truth functions as a beam of hope for all lovers of democracy and good government.

“Your original love for people and fear of God stands out among politicians.”

The chairman said the PDP at Ondo State was standing solid with the governor in prayer, solidarity, and good intentions.

“We believe that under your supervision, Rivers will continue to develop in unity, prosperity, and progress.

“Hopefully the new phase of your government is marked by a greater achievement and strengthens the bond of trust between the government and the governed,” he added.
