Ondo PDP rejects the resignation of the Publicity Secretary

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has rejected the resignation of its publicity secretary, Bpk. Kennedy Peretei.

Peretei in a resignation letter sent to the Chairperson of the PDP in his environment in Arogbo Ward 1, êse Odo area of ​​the country’s local government on Wednesday, quoted selfish leadership as a cause of his resignation from the party.

Party state leadership led by the Chairperson of the Guards Committee in Ondo State, Dr. Bakarta Bello, visiting the Publicity Secretary in Akure.

Bello told Peretei that this new incident in the party in the state was not enough to make him resign membership and therefore won to reconsider his resignation.

He said: “Yes, you have the right to feel offended if necessary. But you must also understand, as an experienced politician, that the combination of factors is always responsible for certain actions or resolutions from political parties.

“You are a true man, and that’s the reason we come to make you change your mind.

“You have to cancel your decision to get out of the party because we don’t receive your resignation letter.”

Previously, Peretei told members of the committee why he made the decision to get out of the party, saying that he felt betrayed and disappointed with the attitudes of some of the people he held at high prices.
