Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, said the current political crisis rocking Rivers State can only be resolved by God.
The political crisis sparked by the dispute between former Governor Nyesom Wike and incumbent Governor Siminalayi Fubara has not subsided, with the emergence of various factions from different camps.

This situation also led to the emergence of two parallel speakers, Martin Amaewhule and Victor Oko-Jumbo, with court cases emerging from both camps.
Sani reacted to the situation in a post on X, writing:
“Rivers State has been left to God to resolve the issue.”
