Onyeka joins Bundesliga side Augsburg on loan

Frank Onyeka has completed his loan move to Bundesliga club Augsburg, according to reports Complete sports.com.

The measure is subject to international authorization.

“Frank has been an important player during our last three seasons in the Premier League,” Brentford head coach Thomas Frank told official club website.

“He has been a huge part of our success and I can’t praise him enough for that in every aspect.

“Frank wants to play week in and week out as a starter, and this is a good opportunity for him to do so.

“We have a lot of young midfielders who also need minutes, so this is a good loan for Frank and the club.”

Onyeka, who joined the Bees from Danish side FC Midtylland in July 2021, has made 78 appearances in all competitions for the London club.
