Oprah Winfrey revealed one of the reasons he had no children

American talk show, television producer, actress, writer, and owner of Media Oprah Winfrey has revealed one of the reasons he did not have children.

Oprah, nicknamed “Queen of All Media” and the Richest African-Americans in the 20th century, revealed that the Mentor, the late Barbara Walters, played a role in his decision not to have children.

Winfrey talked about a complex relationship that Walters had with her adopted daughter, Jacqueline, and how it affected her own perspective about being a mother in the upstream documentary film, Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything.

In 1968, Walters – a pioneering journalist – adopted Jacqueline Dena Guber. However, their relationship was known to be tense, because there was a rumor that Jacqueline escaped from the house in the 1980s and struggled with the center of attention.

Difficulty turning his personal and professional life, especially his bond with his daughter, is often discussed by Walters himself when his career takes off.

Winfrey remembered a conversation where Walters encouraged him to consider having children. “He told me that nothing was more satisfying than being a mother and said, ‘You must really think about it,'” Winfrey said. “And I’m like, ‘Okay, but I see you, so … no.'”

He described Walter’s relationship with his daughter as “complex” and “charged,” recording it is “one of the reasons why I never have children.”

Reflecting the balance between career and family, Oprah explained, “When you are a pioneer in your field and break the printing for yourself and others, something must be given. I know I can’t do both well. Both ways need sacrifice.”

He continued, “That’s why I don’t have children. I also don’t want to be half doing. Barbara never let other people take a big story. He is endlessly.”
