Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has been cleared and will not face punishment following his confrontation with Trabzonspor supporters last month.

The altercation occurred after Fenerbahce’s 3-2 victory in the Turkish Super Lig, prompting charges of misconduct against Osayi-Samuel and two teammates by the Turkish Football Federation.

 

However, Turkish media outlet A Spor reports that the 26-year-old has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Trabzonspor has been handed a six-match penalty, with games to be played behind closed doors due to the unruly behavior of their fans.
