Former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, has challenged senior journalists and rose.
Oshiomhole, who threw challenges to Abati during the program on the television channel on Tuesday night, said he took a special exception to Abati asking the new Okowa to defect from the Democratic Party of the People’s (PDP) to the Congress of all Progressive (APC) if he (Okowa) had asked Oshiomhole permission to power before giving.
Former President of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) insisted that Abati, a former spokesman for former President Goodluck Jonathan,
It should not “hide behind the TV”, but “out to the streets” to calm him down “face to face.”
“I was very surprised that a senior editor could ask the Governor of the State of Delta ago, Okowa, with naughty, I must say, with all respect, ‘Do you get permission from Oshiomhole that your sin will now be forgiven before you decide to shrink APC?'” Oshomhole told the program.
He said he was annoyed that Abati would link him to Okowa’s political decision.

“How can you ask questions like that? What is my role? I am part of the legislature. Is the legislative in charge of demanding someone for mistakes?
“The man who made the statement at one time was invited by EFCC after he was a spokesman for Jonathan, shamelessly. After that, EFCC arrested him. Did I give him a guarantee to leave PDP to go wherever he was?
“Even on labor day, he talked about labor leaders involved in protests and pickets, but could not admit that I led the demonstration. This was someone who had written an article titled ‘Oshiomhole The People’s President’ when I became President of the NLC.
“Instead of giving me credit, he claims that once the workers’ leaders left the NLC, they later became governors.
“If you are bitter because you fail to become deputy governor in the state of Ogun, is that why you are so paranoid and continue to attack me?
“If you want to insult me, don’t hide behind the TV, exit the streets and let’s cover it directly,” Oshiomhole challenged.
