Osimhen could join Galatasaray on loan

Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have opened talks with Napoli to sign Victor Osimhen on loan.

The striker is currently sidelined at Napoli after failing to secure a move to either Al-Ahli or Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

The Partenopei have made it clear that the Nigerian international will not be part of the team again.

A move to Galatasaray will now be an escape route for Osimhen, who is desperate to sort out his future.

The Turkish transfer window is open until September 13, so there is plenty of time to reach a full agreement.

According Sky Sport ItaliaNapoli are likely to have to share much of his €10m-per-season salary.

An alternative would be for Galatasaray to cover the salary, but not pay anything towards the loan fee.
