Osimhen, Lookman and Adams are the shining light of the eagles

Former Nigerian international Sunday Oliseh has described the trio of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams as the shining light for the Super Eagles in Europe this season.

Oliseh made this known against the backdrop of his impressive goalscoring form with his respective clubs in Europe. Let us remember that Osimhen has scored 19 goals for Galatasaray in all competitions this season, Adams has scored 7 for Sevilla and Lookman has scored 6 for Atlético de Madrid.

Despite the Eagles’ offensive talent on the field, the country failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, but had a decent performance at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where they finished in third place.
