Osimhen Will Leave Napoli Next Summer – Canovi

Veteran agent Dario Canovi says he expects Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli next summer despite the Nigerian penning a contract extension with the Naples club.

The 24-year-old signed a new one-year contract with the Serie A champions on Christmas eve.

Osimhen now has a contract with Napoli until June 2026.

Canovi predicted that the Partenopei will still sell their talismanic striker despite handing him a new contract.

“Napoli have been in difficulty since the start of the championship. In my opinion the departure of (Luciano) Spalletti and (Cristiano) Giuntoli caused what is happening,” Canovi told TMW.

“Having let both of them leave, the club was practically massacred, they were the cornerstones of Napoli who won. Giuntoli and especially Spalletti.

“Osimhen is a renewal that simply serves to increase the price. In my opinion he will go away in June.”
