The Amotekun Corps in the state of Osun recovered 6 42-inch LG television sets after involving thieves in a gun duel, following an attack on a hotel in Ode-Od-Oyedadade the local government of the State.
Tuesday, a declaration of the Roomkun spokesman in the state, Yusuf Abass, revealed that a stolen Toyota matrix vehicle and six 42 -inch LG television sets were recovered after the duel of the gun in Ogere, in the state of Ogun.
He revealed that the thieves involved Amotekun and the Federal Road Safety Corps (Frsc), when they stormed a hotel in Ode-Od, where Lagos victims were housed during the night to participate in a funeral ceremony.
“During the attack, the attackers took away a Matrix Toyota vehicle worth about N7 million, together with six 42 -inch LG televisions for a value of over N3 million.
“The victims promptly reported that the accident in command of the body Amotekun in Ayedadade Local Government, G3. Acting quickly, the agents of the local and state commands launched a coordinated tracking operation.
“The hot commitment received from AMOTEKUN agents deflected the thugs in Ogere in the state of Ogun, where they abandoned the vehicle stolen in the nearby bush, with other stolen objects. It is believed that some authors have fled with firearm wounds,” said Abass.
The commander of the body of Amotekun Corps, Adekunle Omoyel, confirmed the recovery, stating that success was a clear indication of the commitment of Amotekun to safeguard the life and ownership of citizens in the state of Osun.
“Mr. Hlanrewaju Omololu, owner of the Toyota Matrix recovered, expressed deep gratitude to the body of Osun Amotekun, saying that they acted quickly without requesting money,” said Abass.
