President Kenya, William Ruto, has regretted the fact that Kenya’s woman has left their man and married a Nigerian man.
Ruto, which made the statement funny at a wedding ceremony, pointed to what he described as a real trend from Kenya’s woman who chose the Nigerian couple, and jokingly questioned why Kenya men seemed to lose.
He further suggested that Kenya’s men might be left behind in the romance department and need to sit or all their women will be struck by Nigerian men.
In a video that is trending on social media on Thursday, the leader of Kenya said:
“My daughter is married to a Nigerian, and this one is now married to a Nigerian.
“And our people around; I don’t know, are you slow? I don’t know. We need to balance this scale because at this level, we will drain the brain from Kenya.

But Ruto highlighted that the Nigerian male union and Kenya women were a reflection of strong and friendly relations between Kenya and Nigeria, showing that the two countries must continue to build this relationship.
“I think there is something between Kenya and Nigeria, we have to take it further.
President Ruto also acknowledged that despite expressed support for the daughter’s union with her husband Nigeria, it was initially difficult to accept her decision to marry the Nigerians.
“This is a pleasant and anxious moment. It’s not easy for parents to give your daughter. It is far more difficult if you give your daughter to Nigerians.
“It is much more difficult when you give your daughter to Igbos,” Ruto added jokingly.
Check had revealed that one of Ruto’s daughters, June, tied a wedding node with a Nigerian, Dr. Alexander Ezenegu, on May 27, 2021.
