Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye, general supervisor of the Christian Church of Redimped God (RCCG), inaugurated an avant -garde stadium and a pool of 50 meters standard Olympic at the International Academy of Pazville, located within the city of God, the state of Ogun.
Accompanied by his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, and RCCG Senior leaders, including Pastor Joseph Obayemi (RCCG National Supervisor) and Pastor Sunday Akande, Adeboye’s shepherd directed the opening ceremony.
Also present were the management team of the International Academy of Pazville, headed by Dolapo Fatoki, along with members of the Board such as Leke Adeoye, Olugbenga Omojola, Ayoola Jolayemi, Noah Osato and Mrs. Looking Ogunsiji.
When reflecting on his university days, Pastor Adeboye pointed out the lack of high quality such sports facilities in the past. “At that time, we did not have access to well -maintained stadiums or an environment conducive to sports.
Today, by the grace of God, these facilities are available in a high school, a testimony of their favor, ”he said.
He prayed for those who contributed to the project and expressed their aspiration for the Academy to obtain global recognition.
In his speech, Pastor Folu Adeboye, founder of the institution, described the school as a possible divine legacy through God’s support. She also recognized her husband’s unwavering stimulus to give life to vision and emphasized the role of sports in the feeding of God’s fearful champions.
The ceremony also included a novel football match to celebrate the 83th birthday of Pastor Adeboye, with the cleric making the ceremonial beginning. Redemption City FC dominated the game, ensuring a 4-0 victory over region 1 FC.
Dolapo Fatoki, head of school, said that the new facilities would be used effectively to promote the physical well -being of students and position the academy as a leading center for sports development in the state of Ogun and in all Nigeria.
