The Special Violation of the State of Lagos, Ikeja, on Monday sentenced a 45 -year -old priest, Ndukwe Ogbu, for 25 years in prison for polluting his 14 -year -old daughter.
In his assessment, Judge Olubunmi Abike-Fadipe argued that the prosecution had proven without a reasonable doubt, accusations of three durk counts, sexual violence, and sexual violence by penetrating the convict.
The judge also noted that Ogbu did not show regret for the crime when he requested a court to reduce justice with mercy because he had other children to be treated.
As a result, he punished the defendant for the accusations put forward by him by the Lagos state government.
According to the judge, the testimony of medical doctors and social workers strengthened the survivors.
He said: “Based on the evidence presented before the court, the defendant was found guilty of the three accusations. He was sentenced to three years because of the count of one.
“On counts of two and three, he each sentenced to 25 years.
“The punishment will run simultaneously and will take effect from December 2019, when he was detained in detention.”
Prisoners were charged around February 2021 and the trial began in October the same year.
During the trial, the prosecution summoned three witnesses and exhibited the exhibition, while inmates testified as witnesses of the sole defender.

Witness of the first prosecution, Mr. Femi Oyeleke, a social worker, told the court that he reported the case to the police.
The survivors and medical doctors also testified against prisoners.
In his testimony, who survived identifying prisoners as his father and told the court that he was 14 years old when the harassment began.
He said his father had sexual relations with him on several occasions and threatened him not to tell anyone.
Sang who survived said he then told his teacher at school, who reported the case to social workers.
However, the defendant denied all claims and stated that he was not at home as claimed by his daughter.
He confirmed to court that he lived in the same apartment as survivors, but he had a separate room.
He also revealed that he lost his wife when children were young, and other children lived in the village with grandmother from the mother’s side.
