The Democratic Party Governor Forum on Sunday night was named the former President of Senate Bukola Saraki as Head of the Reconciliation Committee of Seven Members.
The head of the forum, Governor of Bala Mohammed from the state of Bauchi, announced this when giving direction to journalists at the end of an important forum meeting with the former governor in Abuja.
He said the committee was given a mandate to reconcile members who were disadvantaged ahead of the meeting of the National Executive Committee of the PDP (NEC) for May 27 and the national convention that would come in August.
Mohammed said: “We are here with all the governors chosen under the party, who are still in the party and a large number of former PDP governors, with our leaders, party leaders, and several members of the National Work Committee (NWC).
“We discussed some of the problems related to our party, some existential issues, of course those that have been circulating in the media and among us, so we will be able to navigate smoothly so that the Scheduled NEC takes place on May 27 and in August, we will have an initial convention.
“So many problems and reports have been made, and this is an opportunity to close the ranking, and to ensure that at least there is no bad feeling, there is no doubt and there is no doubt between party leaders.
“The party governor has reached our colleagues who have been there before, who have more experience.
“Any suggestions or opinions they might have, will be very helpful in providing additional encouragement to our NEC actualization, and our scheduled conventions take place on certain days.

“We want to convince our team supporters that PDP works, PDP is united.”
In this new defender from the Governor of the State of Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori, and others to the Congress of All Progressive (APC), Mohammed said the party worked not only to strengthen the IT structure, but also regain countries.
“Well, these are some manifestations in democratic arrangements like this that we have, and this is what forces us to unite.
“Instead of decreasing and weakening, it makes us stronger, and we will ensure at least the chapters where we have history, where we have a structure, not abandoned alone.
“They will be able to produce the Governor of PDP by God’s grace, because we will provide the level of playing in the next convention to come,” added the Governor. Other committee members are Governor Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Caleb Muftwang (highlands), and Peter MBA (Enugu).
The rest are Senator Serake Dickson, Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, and former Governor of the State Abia, Head of Okezie IKPeazu.
The meeting held at Pondok Governor Bauchi in Abuja was attended by Enugu, Zamfara, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa, Osun and Oyo.
Also at the meeting was the Minister of Federal Capital Region (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, among others.
