PDP accused the pre-knowledge, APC demanded an apology

The new verdict -this is the new Petition Court of Ondo Election, which confirms Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s victory from the Congress of All Progressive (APC), has sparked new political disputes, with Democratic Party candidates (PDP), Verd.

Ajayi, who was a candidate for the Governor of PDP in the last election, expressed his suspicion of the court’s decision, which he vowed to appeal.

The court, in a round decision submitted by the three -person panel led by Judge Benson Ogbu on June 4, has rejected the petition proposed by Ajayi and other applicants, citing the reasons for inability, lack of achievement, and perseverance. The court further described the petition as “reckless.”

Following the favorable court decision, APC members and supporters descend to the streets of Akure, the Capital of the State, in excitement. However, the PDP candidate argues that the appearance of their celebration shows pre-knowledge.

React sharply to this claim, the APC state Ondo chapter demanded an apology that was not presented to the judiciary and thousands of voters participated in the election.

The party, in a statement by the Director of the Media and Publicity, Mr. Steve Otisoro on Tuesday, slammed the accusation of Ajayi as “an unfavorable comment that functions as an unreasonable attack on the integrity of the Nigerian judicial system.”

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the PDP candidate acknowledged that his party was still reviewing the verdict, but openly voiced his suspicion. Agboola stated, “Because awareness and full attention have been given to the kernel where the honorable judge bases their findings and conclusions, which in our opinion does not provide the right analysis for details of the evidence and exhibitions submitted to the court while sitting.”

He continued, expressed his disappointment but confirmed his determination: “Thus for at least, we feel disappointed that we did not get justice at that level, but we are still not affected and not found in our search to ensure that justice is not only served in this issue but also ensures that honesty began to take effect in our election process.”

Ajayi also confirmed his intention to challenge the decision: “Therefore, we declare our conclusions to weaken our rights and desires to advance our commitment to the legal process by appealing on the court’s decision in the appeal court. He urged party members and supporters to remain steadfast, believe that justice will eventually win in the state and nation.

APC, however, remains hard in his defense of the judiciary and the election process. The party asserted, “Such satire from Ajayi not only damages hard work and judicial dedication but also does not respect the democratic process carried out by voters during the new governor election.”

Calling for retraction, APC added, “We ask PDP to submit an apology that is not ordered to the Nigerian trial and to thousands of voters who participated in the election, which culminated in the victory that had never happened before and extraordinary for the lucky governor Aiyedatiwa.”

Further party parties suggest that the PDP reaction is a consequence of their election defeat: “It is clear that the disappointment of PDP comes from their inability to secure a beneficial verdict, the results they expect will allow them to seize the mandate given to the APC by voters. Their claims about the challenges of judicial are no more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reactions more than their reaction More than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction more than their reaction.
