The leadership of the people’s Democratic Party condemned the seal of his headquarters at Wadate Plaza in the 5 Wuse area, Abuja.
Bode George, a member of the Foundation Council of the PDP, described the seal of the party secretariat by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) as a sacrilegious and unacceptable.
Speaking on Television Arise, Tuesday, George said that the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike went too far with the party’s office seal.
“As for the blockage of our party, it is absolutely sacrilegious, unacceptable and culturally inadmissible.
“One, the Minister of the Territory of the Federal Capital Wike, my political son, this is the party that gave you life,” said George.
Also admitting that the party had to rent a rent on the ground of N7 million, George said that the amount under discussion could be easily paid by Wike, which is also a member of the PDP.
“It’s like returning to your village and you have your family home, they have not paid a little rental on the ground and you are president of the local government. The next one you do … how much did we have to do? N7 million, which you could pay,” he added.
I further list everything PDP has done for the minister, George said that Wike became a president of the local government, a head of the staff of a governor, a minister of state and a governor for eight years under the party platform.
He also contested Wike to take the same road by reviewing the state of payment of the rent on the ground on the property used by Congress to all progressives.
