Pedro shines when Chelsea makes it easier for Fluminense to the final of the W’CUP club

English club Chelsea defeated Brazilian team Fluminense 2-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup semifinal match on Tuesday night.

The new signing of Joao Pedro was a match star when he scored against his former club to send Chelsea to the final.

Pedro, 23, scored the first in the 18th minute after defender Thiago Silva failed to clean Pedro Neto’s cross.

He scored his second goal, a strong shot that came from the bar in the 56th minute, to close the victory. Victory ensures that Chelsea added £ 22 million to £ 60 million that have been obtained in the competition.

Fluminense was stunned when the referee canceled his own decision to give a first round penalty for a handball by Trevoh Chalobah after VAR’s intervention.

The Blues will now face Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the Sunday final in the same place.
