Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P and one member of the duo P-Square, has opened up about the hidden struggles behind his success in the music industry.
The Afrobeats singer shared a photo on his Instagram page showing himself asleep in the studio around 3am, revealing the sleepless nights and sacrifices that often go unnoticed behind the scenes.
According to the singer, the post was intended to highlight the reality of hard work and perseverance, not only in music but in every walk of life.
“My sound engineer/producer captured this moment without me realizing… 3am in the studio. A sacrifice most people don’t see,” he wrote.

Peter explained that moments like this represent the dedication needed to achieve success, stressing that many people only see the results without understanding the effort that goes into the process.
The singer, who is the twin brother of Paul Okoye, encouraged his followers to remain committed to their goals and trust the process, stating that sincere efforts will eventually bear fruit.
He also hinted that fans will better understand the hard work behind the scenes when his upcoming album is released.
“But it’s not just about music… It’s about every journey in life. The sleepless nights. The invisible work. Trust the process; every real effort will definitely pay off.” He added.
