Plateau: APC Strategises to recover power in 2027

The chapter of the Plateau State of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed the trust that the party would have recovered the governance of the state in the general elections of 2027.

This was part of the result of a general meeting held by the members of the party under the auspices of minds similar to APC in the area of ​​the local government of the North.

President of the Local Government Council of North Jos, Hon. Shehu Bala Usman.

Usman said that leaders and party members in Jos North believed that it was time to reconnect, reconstruct belonging, improve communication and start strategic planning.

“This necessity for the meeting actually emerged from the meeting we had with the party leader, Simon Bako Lalong, senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and also the minister (Nantewa Yilwatda) who arrived about three weeks ago, and reiterated the need for Unify and also strengthened the party to the party,” he said.

Usman observed that the APC was actively strategist to recover power in the state during the elections of the Governorate of 2027 and other elective offices.

He said at the beginning of their meeting, they had observed a minute silence in the memories of those who were recently killed at Bokkos LGA, but said the state government had to wake up to protect the life of citizens.

“We have condemned in total what happened and we ask for an immediate investigation and also those who were considered guilty should be treated directly and justice should follow its course,” he said.

Hon Usman said that he was expecting a development in all levels of basic governance that would be commensurate with federal assignments both at the plateau and the governance levels of the local government in the state.
