Playing In Saudi League Was My Biggest Regret

Former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson says he regrets leaving the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.

The England international, who currently plays for Ajax in the Dutch League, made this known in an interview with Het Parool.

Recall that Henderson joined Al-Ettifaq for a fee of £12 million during the winter transfer window.

It was seen as a major coup for the Middle East club but Henderson ended up making just 19 first-team appearances before agreeing to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
