Police arrest three suspected kidnappers in Lagos

Police officers in Lagos have arrested three suspected kidnappers who were terrorizing residents of the Ikorodu area of ​​the state.

Command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this to journalists on Wednesday in Lagos.

He said the suspects were allegedly attempting to kidnap a car dealer on Ebute-Igbogbo Road in Ikorodu on Tuesday before they were arrested.

The spokesman said: “The three suspects, aged between 23 and 33, (names withheld), have been in custody since Tuesday shortly after the incident.

“Efforts are underway to arrest two other suspects who fled during the raid.

“The investigation into this case has begun.”
