The police said that the suspect appeared in a viral video during a church program, claiming a divine favor for the acquisition of the property.

“The suspicion was seen in a viral video that testified in a Ministry of Sion’s program, claiming that God had blessed him with the acquisition of said ownership.

“The videos of the building were exhibited in the church during his testimony. In another viral video, he said he had purchased the house for two hundred million naira (N200,000,000.00). “

After the interrogation, according to reports, the suspicion admitted that he had made false statements.

According to the declaration, “during the interrogation, the suspicion confessed the crime, admitting that he had acted alone.

“It was accused today, on 11 March 2025, before the Enugu Mister’s District Magisterial Court on an accusation of five counts, including obtaining with false claim with intention of framing, defamation of character and trying to commit a crime trying to sell the property. The deposit was granted and the case was updated to April 9, 2025 for further hearings. “
