Police arrested fake soldiers, 3 other alleged car thieves in Jigawa

The police operation in Jigawa has arrested a fake soldier and three alleged car thieves in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Shi’isu Adam, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Dutse.

He said: “Operations from the Cafin Hausa Division arrested the suspects after they escaped from the accident.

“The suspects, all from the state canoe state, were identified as Kabiru Musa, 35, from Rimin Kebe Quarters; Umar Ali, 25, from Haye Quarters; and Sabiu Bashir, 25, from Tokarawa Village.

“Before the arrest, a report was received on September 7 regarding the theft of a blue saloon golf vehicle with a registration number of MGA 108 JG from Agura Motor Park, Kafin Hausa Lga.

“Initial investigations revealed that Kabiru Musa mistakenly claimed to be Lance Kabiru Musa from 102 Guard Brigade, FCT, Abuja.

“Further examination by the State Criminal Investigation Department in Dutse confirmed that he was a copycat.

“The search for goods -Kabiru found seven ATM cards, two driver licenses, and other items related to fraud.

“The suspects are now facing a court indictment after the investigation is complete.”
