Police arrested Vandal ‘Notorious’ in Akwa Ibom

Police operations at Akwa Ibom have arrested a famous destroyer in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Timfon John, revealed this in a statement on Saturday at UYO.

He said the operators arrested the suspect after an attack led by intelligence on August 18.

John said the suspect had previously fled from the community because he was sought in connection with the destruction of the structure of the school and private home.

“Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect and several other unknown people.

“The suspect was arrested during the attack, while the others fled to the nearest river because they saw the police vehicle,” the spokesman added.

He registered the items found from the scene to insert a small bag filled with dry leaves suspected of being marijuana, four door handles, mini flashlight lights, and some parts of the door lock that were damaged.
