The agents of the State Police Command of Ondo saved Ayodeji Akinero, a healthcare profession at the Federal Medical Center in the Owo area of ​​the State, who had previously been kidnapped by armed men.

The healthcare professional was kidnapped by armed men in his residence in the area of ​​the local government of Owo in the State of Ondo on Thursday 28 August 2025.

Speaking of Saturday’s accident, the public relations officer of the State Police of Ondo, DSP Olushola Ayanlade, revealed that Akinsero was saved following the directive provided by the police commissioner, Adbowale Lawal, after receiving the report of the accident.

Ayanlade said that the police commissioner, after receiving the accident report, ordered that the victim should be saved at all costs.

Ayanlade declared: “By acting on this directive, the command of the area in Owo, working in synergy with the division police, the command agents and the Upeme supervisory group, launched a coordinated operation.
