Lagos State Police Command, former Labor Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi’s poster boy was returned to Penitentiary facilities to commit various violations in the Amukoko area in the state.
The boy, 18, became popular during the 2023 presidential election for standing in front of the LP candidate convoy.
A spokesman for the order, Benjamin Hundeyin, made a clarification in a statement on Saturday at Lagos.
He said the boy was involved in attacks on violence and public disorders.
He added that the boy caused great damage to public and personal property and injured people standing in the amukoko area.
The statement reads: “The order is aware of public concerns about the case of a 18 -year -old child who was returned to correctional services, following his involvement in various crimes.
“On January 22, serious violations of public peace and broad damage to public and personal property occurred in Amukoko.

“Youth groups are involved in increasing violence confrontation to be a street fight for all, causing violence, panic, and widespread chaos.
“During chaos, a number of innocent people were reported to have been robbed and injured.
“In response, the Command Police officers immediately launched an investigation of the incident.
“More important information is provided by community members, some of them witnessed the incident and acknowledged several people involved.
“The robbery victims also advanced to give statements and positively identify the perpetrators.
“After a comprehensive and transparent investigation, the suspect and four others were arrested and charged with the court in connection with the crime.
“The suspects were returned by the court to the correctional facility while waiting for conclusions from the legal process in this issue.”
