Police Nigeria Rescue 46 busy victims, arrest 7

The police force of Nigeria (NPF), through the Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB), Abuja, recorded a significant turning point in the fight against transnational organized crimes such as human trafficking and transnational transnational crime in cross activities on the cross.

“Opoku was ordered to travel to Nigeria, where he became awarded in the fraudulent schemes of Qnet. It was also discovered that the victim had paid Ghc 30,000 (Cedis Ghanase) to an Atth Amankwaah, a Ghanase who resided in Nigeria and a well -known member of the Qnet network.

“This union specializes in the manipulation and confinement of people in online marketing scams exploiting under coercion and false obligations.”

Adejobi said, acting in credible intelligence, the agents of Nigeria Police Force (NPF) arrested six suspicions, including Atth Amankwaah and discovered incriminating materials during a raid in their operational base.

“Detailed declarations obtained by both victims and suspicions led to the exposure of a wider trafficking of transnational human beings and a network of fraud on the Internet. The saved victims were subsequently delivered to the high commission of Ghana in Abuja for safe repatriation and reinstatement, with the guarantee of continuous consular and welfare support in line with international cattle.”

According to the spokesperson, in a related development, “on June 17, 2025 at about 14:13, the Interpol NCB received a rescue request regarding four citizens of Ghana busy in Nigeria from an African Grace of Achiiaa, a 39 -year -old female.

“The investigations revealed that Afrifa has fraudulently obtained the sum of 126,000 Cedis Ghanaians from her victims on the pretext of guaranteeing their job opportunities.

“By acting quickly on intelligence, the agents monitored and arrested suspicion on June 18, 2025 at n. 1 Ikot Ebido Street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. During the operation, 15 victims were saved by his custody.

“The seven suspicions arrested in both operations are currently in police custody and will be accused in court at the end of the current investigations.”

He assured that the Nigerian police forces (NPF) remained still in his commitment to dismantle the trade unions of the trafficking, fight the computer crime and protect the populations vulnerable from exploitation.

“The police inspector general, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, praises the rapid and collaborative efforts of Interpol, the high commission of Ghana and all the agents involved and reiterate the infinite decision of the NPF.
