The Lagos State Police Command has released all #EndBadGovernance protesters arrested in the state on Thursday.
The command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this to journalists on Friday in Lagos.
He said not a single protester was detained by police in the state.
Hundeyin said: “All protesters who were arrested on Thursday were released on the same Thursday.

“The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade, called the State CID to order their release.”
One of the protest leaders, Mr Inibehe Effiong, earlier told a gathering at Gani Fawehinmi Park that at least 12 protesters had been arrested on Thursday.
However, he later confirmed the spokesman’s claim that all those arrested had been released.
He commended the police and other security agencies for their professional handling of the protests in the state.
