Singer Nigerian Street Hop, Habeeb Okikiola, known among music as a portable, has requested his senior colleague, Saheed Osupa, for forgiveness after his arrest on Saturday by the police in the state of Kwara.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, said in a statement on Sunday that the singer “Zazu” was arrested after the petition by Osupa.
He said: “The Kwara State Police Command wants to tell the general public that following the petition received from one of the Mr. Okunola Saheed, known as ‘Osupa,’ against Mr. Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known in the entertainment industry as a ‘portable.’ The Komando Kwara police detective has taken legitimate steps in accordance with the legal process to investigate the accusation.
” The petition is bordered by a serious accusation, which includes defamation of criminal names, threats to life, incitement, character killing, behaviors that tend to cause violations of peace, and the use of rude and insulting words.
“Considering the weight of this accusation and the supporting evidence presented, the order received a valid arrest warrant from the judge court sitting in Ilorin.
