Days after praising Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, controversial singer, Habeeb Okiliola, popularly known as Portable, has fired shots at singer OBO, who he says gave him the wrong advice.
The rift between Davido and Portable was sparked after exponent Zazzu Zeh accused Davido of giving him ‘bad advice’ regarding which record label to sign with so he can win the Grammy Awards.
In a post on social media on Thursday, Portable claimed Davido advised him against signing with Sony Music and instead suggested Empire Music, which he (Portable) interpreted as a hindrance to his Grammy aspirations.
Portable said he saw the advice as an act of ‘dirty play’ because he, like Davido, aspires to win a Grammy and signing with Empire Music would not put him in the limelight of the Grammy Awards.
Responding to Portable’s criticism, Davido immediately unfollowed the street musician on Instagram.

Responding to the development, Portable took to Instagram to state that he does not need Davido’s support or followers to succeed as an artist or win a Grammy.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and immediately unfollowed me because I was no longer useful to them. Whether you help me or not, I will go on my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammys.”
