Premier League: Haaland leads Man City past West Ham after Arsenal draw with Brighton

Erling Haaland scored three goals to help Manchester City secure a 3-1 win over West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday night.

Haaland opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Rรบben Dias scored an own goal to equalise for the hosts and Haaland scored two more goals.

Earlier in the day, Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton at the Emirates Stadium, with Kai Havertz and Joao Pedro scoring for either side.

The Gunners ended the game with 10 men as Declan Rice received a red card.

Having previously been booked for a foul on Brighton’s Joel Veltman, Rice received a second yellow card four minutes into the second half for kicking the ball before a free-kick.

Mikel Arteta’s side have now dropped points for the first time this season.

Elsewhere, Brentford beat Southampton 3-1; Everton lost 3-2 to Bournemouth at Goodison Park, while Ipswich drew 1-1 with Fulham.

In other Premier League matches played simultaneously, Leicester City lost 2-1 to Aston Villa while Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers drew 1-1.
