President EFCC denies force the nnpcl boss to resign

The president of the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC), Ola Olukoyed, denied the news that he forced the resignation to the CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Bayo Ojulari group.

In a declaration on Wednesday of the Feccc Delewale spokesman, Olukoyeda criticized a report by an online portal, the popular Gazzetta, claiming that he presumably kidnapped Ojulari and forced him to resign to Abuja.

The EFCC garment required a retraction of the story from the online platform and a public excuse within 48 hours.

Although there have been reports on the resignation of Ojulari, the head of Nnpcl, the state company and the presidency have not commented on the development.

On Monday, among his resignations, Ojulari participated in an event of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Lagos, where he recommended to Africa to develop banking energy projects such as one of the ways to guarantee sustainable energy future.

Confutando according to which he forced Ojulari to resign on Wednesday, the head of the FCC described the relationship as unexplored and able to throw it into the mold of someone who “betrayed and subverted the trust of the public”.

Olukoyede said that his lawyer, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (San), wrote on the online platform that “the publications and accused transmitted by them are so harmful and cannot be ignored or treated with Levity”.

Therefore, it requested that the vehicle “recognizes your offense, expressly admitted that what you have published and attributed against my client is false, sorry for it without reservations and retires and pulls the stories down from your newspaper website and social media handles”.

Olukoyede’s lawyer warned that any bankruptcy of conformity with his instructions would entail the issue of a “written in the defamation crime to allow you to demonstrate what your contempt for the character and reputation of my client, in particular for the office that as president of the commission for economic and financial crimes”.
